How to use the lorem ipsum generator
How it works
Choose whether you want paragraphs, sentences, or a flat run of words, set how many, and press generate. Paragraphs contain four to six sentences each; sentences run from six to fourteen words. The first block always opens with the traditional “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet…”
Why placeholder text matters
Real copy invites reading and opinions. Placeholder text lets a design be judged on its layout alone — which is the point of a mockup. Writers also use it to reserve space for sections they have planned but not yet drafted.
