How to use the case converter
How it works
Paste your text, then press the style you want. The text is converted in place, so you can chain styles (for example, Sentence case first, then Title Case) and copy the result when it looks right.
The styles
UPPERCASE and lowercase flip every letter. Title Case capitalises the first letter of each word — the headline look. Sentence case capitalises only the first letter of each sentence, like normal prose. aLtErNaTiNg alternates letter by letter for a playful meme style. Remove Extra Spaces cleans up double spaces, stray tabs, and messy blank lines without touching your words.

"the quick brown fox writes great captions. every single day." becomes "The Quick Brown Fox Writes Great Captions. Every Single Day." in Title Case, or "The quick brown fox writes great captions. Every single day." in Sentence case.
Frequently asked questions
What does Title Case do to words like "the" and "of"?
This converter capitalises the first letter of every word, including small words. That is the most predictable behaviour for headlines and buttons; if your style guide keeps small words lowercase, adjust those by hand afterwards.
How does Sentence case decide where sentences start?
It lowercases everything first, then capitalises the first letter of the text and the first letter after each full stop, question mark, or exclamation mark.
What counts as an "extra space"?
Runs of spaces or tabs become a single space, each line is trimmed, and stacks of blank lines are reduced to one blank line. Your paragraph breaks stay intact.
What is alternating case for?
aLtErNaTiNg CaSe is a playful style often used for memes and jokes. The converter alternates on letters only, so numbers and punctuation stay put.
